About

Faculty of Creative Multimedia and Computing, Selangor Islamic University (SIU) is an educational center offering academic programs in the fields of information technology, creative multimedia and computing. The faculty is committed in producing graduates who are highly skilled, creative and innovative in the field of ICT, in line with the rapid development of the digital industry with the support of experienced academic staff and sophisticated learning facilities, this faculty provides comprehensive education based on Islamic values, aims to produce competent and ethical professionals in facing the challenges of today's technological world.

Background

The Faculty of Creative Multimedia & Computing (FMKK) at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) underwent several phases of establishment. It began as the School of Business Studies (SPP), which offered an IT study programs in 1999, before expanding into the School of Technology and Information Sciences (STSI) in 2004 with a focus on information technology and multimedia. Subsequently, it was upgraded to the Faculty of Information Technology and Sciences (FTSI), and later the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FSTM) in 2012 by expanding courses in computer science and technology. Ultimately, in year 2023 it became known as FMKK, with a strong emphasis on creative multimedia and computing fields.
